Brad Gillman has 30 years of experience in commercial real estate including (i) the underwriting and origination of commercial real estate loans, (ii) buying and selling performing and non-performing real estate and commercial loans, and (iii) managing the restructuring and collection of non-performing loans in the United States, Brazil and Mexico. Mr. Gillman was a Managing Director at Tishman Speyer Properties, where he was responsible for coordinating the firm’s Brazilian transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and asset management. Prior to working at Tishman Speyer, he was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, where he worked for 11 years. While at Goldman Sachs he led a wide variety of capital markets related activities, including establishing Goldman Sachs’ commercial mortgage conduit business and acting as the Chief Credit Officer, managing the commercial mortgage trading position, investing firm capital in performing and non-performing loans, starting two collection businesses (one in each of the United States and Brazil) and over-seeing three others, including two in Mexico. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Mr. Gillman was a Senior Vice President & Department Manager at Sumitomo Trust, where he specialized in loan workouts, bankruptcy, foreclosures and restructurings.
